For whatever reason the 2008 revivial series just doesn't have the same feel as the original 1997 - 1998 version to me. =/ Maybe it's just me.

Pretty expensive illusion. Have to buy a whole Suburban, get it painted, add the lights, remove the engine and interior. Wow!

Couldn't they have just moved a barrier when the curtain came down, push the truck out of the way and then move the barrier back? Seems like that would be easier.

I was banned from a local magic show for exposing a traveling magician's best trick.

This was pretty obvious when i first saw the shape of the table.

Before the secrets were given away, you could tell that from the delay of the magicians body appearing on the curtain, that the lighting is done so that there are areas to hide outside of it in the cage.

First. Abosultely brilliant!

Yeah, it was pretty clear that something was being done to the top of the car when the curtain covered exclusively that part of the car. xD A pretty simple, kinda lame TV trick you can't really do in person.

I figured out that the truck was being lifted as the curtain lifted and I was right.
